Because they don’t know the local area and are not a citizen so we don’t know if they even are safe or qualified to vote or are just motivated by immoral thoughts.

Foreigners do not live or work in the country generally and should not have a say in its policy or democracy.

Some areas are overpopulated with immigrants so they would vote based on their beliefs and not English beliefs.

If they do not live and reside in this country and proven their desire to do so, they have no say in the future of it.

They should not be allowed to vote at all until they have lived in the UK for a certain amount of time (e.g. 5 years).

 @9LVKYJTdisagreed…2mos2MO

Local elections are for the UK born people who have lived all there lives in the country and want what's best for the local British people

 @9LPM5YLdisagreed…2mos2MO

That's a whole other story. They should because they only choose who leads local village/town where they live, not the whole nation.

They may be unfamiliar or unaffected by policies they would be voting for, and also compromise national security and election integrity.

 @9FHKVT2disagreed…9mos9MO

They will say tempt to sway votes to favour decisions that don’t have the intrest of British people at heart

Well I completely agree with the statement, why should it be any different than the national level? I believe there is a social contract between state and citizen, and if you want to have a say in how that state is ran then you need to be willing to sign up to the contract of citizenship with all the flaws and benefits which come with it. At the end of the day we're one team, a nation, and we can't afford to waste time on voices and aspects which don't benefit our 'team' necessarily.

The vote determines the leadership of the country and this right belongs to those who are committed to this country. Through foreigners voting a foreign government can influence the countries direction

My answer is they will be used as tool in hands of different political parties and every few years are given empty promises
