Neo-fascism is a post–World War II ideology that includes significant elements of fascism. The term was coined in the 1960s to describe various political movements in different countries that were seen to be extreme right-wing, with a strong authoritarian and nationalist agenda, similar to the fascist movements of the early 20th century.

What is your emotional response to the idea that a single national culture should be preserved at the expense of diversity?
@9HBZP766mos6MO
Multiculturalism is important to break down prejudices and barriers
@9H8572K6mos6MO
The cultural diversity of our country is hugely important.
@9HBZD496mos6MO
Diversity should not be a euphemism for neglecting the population that already resides here, nor should it be a weapon against people being concerned for the future of their country. It is not fascist to be concerned about immigration, and it is not fair that through this polarisation in the media people of colour and different ethnicities are being threatened and bullied out of our proudly multicultural country.

What are your thoughts on the balance between assimilation into a dominant culture and the maintenance of distinct cultural identities?
@9HMFC95 5mos5MO
When the west visits a country in the East such as a Muslim dominated country, we must respect their rules and beliefs even if we don’t agree. Those who come to a free country where they can still practise their religion should do in a considerate way to those who don’t agree. More integration is needed. We will never allow one religion to take over, practise but without pulling us all along with it.
@9HM7RBVConservative5mos5MO
Yes they should, however they should be able to keep their beliefs
@9HMCZ8C5mos5MO
If your beliefs are run counter to fundamental rights and culture of the host nation, they are anathematical and should not be tolerated. If the person refuses to renounce those beliefs, they can return to their country of origin.
@9HM7R975mos5MO
Yes they should however should be able to keep beliefs

What emotions arise within you when you consider the trade-off between societal tradition and the inclusion of varied cultural practices?
@9HMXRSX5mos5MO
I think we should support the Labour Party and Tony Blair.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
How might your concept of identity and self-worth change in a society that values collective identity over individual differences?
@9JFXYMV4mos4MO
Individuals will always have their own identity and any government that tries to control this is wasting valuable resources that could be spent elsewhere.
