The UK does not have sufficient infrastructure or resources in place or social cohesion to allow increased immigration

Agreed. Our doctors, dentists and schools can’t meet the needs of people born here. More and more houses are being built without infrastructure in place which is already negatively effecting people without the added demands of immigrants on a broken system.

Then that is the fault of the UK government. Ways must be found to ensure that these immigrants can come to the UK, whether as refugees or skilled workers, to benefit national industry and boost our apparently failing infrastructure. Also the people must be educated to ensure greater social cohesion. Neither of these two points are the fault of the immigrants so should not prevent them from entering this country.
