Palestine
@9H3WNHGConservative5mos5MO
As multiple two state policies have been offered and rejected by multiple leaders of Palestine and the constant attacks by Hamas, who Palestine are harbouring, over the last decade Israel are well within their right to root out Hamas. The fact that the city of Gaza is densely populated is a tragedy but unfortunately this is the harsh reality of war. Innocent people always get caught in the crossfire especially when being actively used as a shield, as is the case in Gaza.
@9GVGZSP6mos6MO
What is your eveidence backing you up? Throught history, ther has never been a Palestinian State? Are you aware what Hamas stands for? I am not against Palestine, I am against Hamas. I am bullied at school. I am not racist, but Muslims bully me, and the only backing up or evidence they have is 'I am Muslim' with no other reasoning. Most Musllims are fine, but it is only the extremists. My sisters are bullied too. If Muslims want a better life, then why don't they go to a Muslim country instead of the west and especially to UK, especialy London. That is because the Muslim countr… Read more

Israel
@9GZTZ485mos5MO
Israel is in a position of power and exerting that power on a weaker state for their gain regardless of the cost.
They should stop and offer humanitarian aid, destroy all fences and gates and live together peacefully.
@9GVGZSP6mos6MO
Israel has historic claims to the land and has offerd Palestine some land many times. Hamas has kidnapped people and are corrupt. A big problem are the ultra religious Jews in Israel, who have taken over the government even though they are only a small percentage of the Israeli population. Most of Israel is reasonable. They provided Palestine with food, water, electricty and jobs.
@9GNYT7ZConservative6mos6MO
The Isrealis have offered the Palestinians statehood 5 times and each times they rejeceted and responded with violence, and civilians die in war, it happens if your hiding behind them
@ISIDEWITH7mos7MO
@9L757Y54wks4W
I sympathise with Israel more, but they are killling too many civilians now in their quest for justice.
@9L69H5Z1mo1MO
Palestine but only because I feel Israel are being over the top with there revenge attacks on Palestine
@9L8N38P4wks4W
I wouldn't say they're being over the top, it's just that Hamas likes to hide behind civilians so Israel's rockets crash into them instead, and Israel get blamed for being genocidal. The entire war is Hamas's fault, after all, when you massacre, torture and take hostage 1,250 innocent civilians, peolpe are going to want revenge.
@9LNT6T51wk1W
Israel, but I still heavily sympathize with Palestinians and despise the current far-right government in Israel
Both sides are uniquely blameworthy, but I do support a two state solution and believe Israel to be a barrier to this.
@9KVRCS81mo1MO
I believe that any loss of civilian life is tragic and war should be avoided at all cost. However, this is not a British problem and it is not my moral obligation to feel sympathy for issues happening half way across the world. We should prioritise issues that exist in this country and not those of foreign nations.
@9KM6J6MLiberal Democrat2mos2MO
I sympathize with the Israeli public and I hugely Sympathize with the Palestinian public. I condemn Hamas and I condemn The Israeli government both equally.
@9KKLVVX2mos2MO
More sympathetic with Palestine but we should aim for a two-state solution along 1967 lines with a permanent ceasefire
@9KG22MR2mos2MO
My sympathy is with Palestine, however this is an extremely complex situation that cannot be answered in this forum
@9KFJ9QX2mos2MO
I sympathise we both sides however Israel was attacked and does have a right to defend itself but they should launch a ground offensive instead of bombing areas, but hamas are using Palestinians as human shields
@9KFHQ5P2mos2MO
Sympathize is a horrible word to use as you are referring to my personal feelings towards an act that i can only inform myself of through the mainstream media which is somewaht biased towerds palestine but insupport israel
@9KFG6WH2mos2MO
Palestine, because of Israeli settlers. I completely disagree with Hamas and believe in a two state solution.
@9KDK8822mos2MO
I agree Israel should defend itself but at the moment they have retaliated disproportionately and should be sanctioned and investigated for war crimes
@9KCY7MK2mos2MO
Initially israel but as time has gone my sympathies have lied more with Palestine due to Israel's excessive use of force.
@9KBW6L42mos2MO
I sympathise with both but Israels response is extremely disproportionate. It has become a war of eliminating Palestine and raised the risk of a regional conflict and there must be a ceasefire now
@9K2QKBP2mos2MO
Both countries have lots of issues and don't really give back to the whole much at all so i think they both should just fight.
@9K2L7CB2mos2MO
Israel should allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and leave the refugee camps, and follow international law in their pursuit of Hamas who should be found and exterminated from Gaza. Israel should then recognise a Palestinian state to secure it's own borders and then ban Israeli settlements in the west bank.
Palestine, I sympathise with the innocent civilians on both sides getting caught up in the pointless slaughter. Of which there are far more victims on the Palestinian side.
@9JV5XKL3mos3MO
the civilians of both are the victims. Hamas and the Israeli government are both as bad as eachother.
@9JV5JST3mos3MO
Israel is an historic ally, however in light of the recent situation, we should not be afraid to criticise Netanyahu’s handling of the situation and the way Palestinians are being unnecessarily killed.
@9JLNMG63mos3MO
I sympathise with the people of Israel and Palestine, but Hamas and Netanyahu are two sides of an evil coin.
@9JJ65WF3mos3MO
I support peace. I think that both governments are bad but the people who aren't in the government and who are innocent people aren't bad and they should be protected.
@9JFNP383mos3MO
The peoples of both, the governments of neither. The UN proposed two state partition is likely the only peaceful resolution.
@9JDM8XV3mos3MO
I support Palestine overall but am horrified by the anti-semitism and anti-islam rhetric which has emerged
@9J8CXPQ3mos3MO
Both equally, but while initially more sympathetic towards israel, I believe they have now taken it too far and there actions are human rights violations towards Palestinians.
@9J79WDH3mos3MO
Politically I sympathise with Palestine, but I’m aware of the complexity of experience of trauma for citizens of both sides, which has contributed to this conflict.
@9J79T5K3mos3MO
Palestine, I have more sympathy for because there is more damage. However they are both hurting and being destroyed
@9J4FN733mos3MO
Palestine, but more needs to be said about Israelis who are against attacking Gaza etc and that there's always been Israelis opposed to marginalisation of Palestinians and settlements.
@9HPMNNM4mos4MO
Neither Hamas nor Likud are right in this and both need to be removed in order for a settlement to be reached.
@9HHSRHG5mos5MO
I sympathise with neither, We created the problem. That was last century, The consequences are none of my business
@Wigley0Liberal Democrat 5mos5MO
I sympathise with the innocent civilians, not with either government.
@9HF9BP75mos5MO
I support Israel more however I disagree with the excessive bombing on Gaza
@9HCWXSS5mos5MO
Mostly Palestine, though I don't like Hamas or the Israeli government and there should be a two-state solution
@9H7VTHR5mos5MO
THings keep changing too quickly, need to do more research. Want the confilict to end!
@9GR8M396mos6MO
I Despise both equally. So I guess both equally although with a twist.
@9GQ77356mos6MO
Terrible what happened to Israel but the scale off carnage to innocent Palestinians is horrendous
@9GQ273N6mos6MO
Both are guilty to some extent, but I nevertheless prefer Israeli dominance to Hamas terrorism.
@9GN6GC2Liberal Democrat6mos6MO
I side with innocent civilians on both sides, but lean slightly more towards Israel in terms of government
@9GMFGSF6mos6MO
With Scotland, the issues in our country must be resolved before putting our time and money into issues abroad
@9GLGSG26mos6MO
Picking sides in a situation where people have to live together in the same place is part of the problem.
@9GKL2W56mos6MO
More focus on the issues in our own country instead of focusing on territorial issues elsewhere.
