Which side of the Israeli Palestinian conflict do you sympathize with more?

I sympathise with Israel more, but they are killling too many civilians now in their quest for justice.

Both sides are uniquely blameworthy, but I do support a two state solution and believe Israel to be a barrier to this.

I believe that any loss of civilian life is tragic and war should be avoided at all cost. However, this is not a British problem and it is not my moral obligation to feel sympathy for issues happening half way across the world. We should prioritise issues that exist in this country and not those of foreign nations.

I sympathize with the Israeli public and I hugely Sympathize with the Palestinian public. I condemn Hamas and I condemn The Israeli government both equally.

My sympathy is with Palestine, however this is an extremely complex situation that cannot be answered in this forum

I sympathise we both sides however Israel was attacked and does have a right to defend itself but they should launch a ground offensive instead of bombing areas, but hamas are using Palestinians as human shields

Initially israel but as time has gone my sympathies have lied more with Palestine due to Israel's excessive use of force.

I sympathise with both but Israels response is extremely disproportionate. It has become a war of eliminating Palestine and raised the risk of a regional conflict and there must be a ceasefire now

Both countries have lots of issues and don't really give back to the whole much at all so i think they both should just fight.

Israel should allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and leave the refugee camps, and follow international law in their pursuit of Hamas who should be found and exterminated from Gaza. Israel should then recognise a Palestinian state to secure it's own borders and then ban Israeli settlements in the west bank.

Israel is an historic ally, however in light of the recent situation, we should not be afraid to criticise Netanyahu’s handling of the situation and the way Palestinians are being unnecessarily killed.

I support peace. I think that both governments are bad but the people who aren't in the government and who are innocent people aren't bad and they should be protected.

Both equally, but while initially more sympathetic towards israel, I believe they have now taken it too far and there actions are human rights violations towards Palestinians.

Palestine, but more needs to be said about Israelis who are against attacking Gaza etc and that there's always been Israelis opposed to marginalisation of Palestinians and settlements.

Neither Hamas nor Likud are right in this and both need to be removed in order for a settlement to be reached.

With Scotland, the issues in our country must be resolved before putting our time and money into issues abroad

Picking sides in a situation where people have to live together in the same place is part of the problem.

More focus on the issues in our own country instead of focusing on territorial issues elsewhere.
