Any citizen who pays taxes and contributes to society should be allowed to vote and help decide to the country they live in.

 @9FV7VMLdisagreed…7mos7MO

Everyone has a right to vote and if they live in the country they deserve a say in the voting and are still members of the electorate

You come to another country and think you can decide what happens to it? Not really how it works nowadays

 @9KGMMH3agreed…2mos2MO

only the people of our country that were born and or raised in this country should be allowed to vote unless they had duo citizenship with one country and ours

 @9GZYH79British Nationalagreed…5mos5MO

Only people who have real British heritage ie - Anglo Celtic should be able to vote, only our people should be able to vote for issues regarding this country.

Statistically, migrants only help the wider British economy (which it itself is only a few small percentages here and there), but deteriorate our national image, our culture and our laws. That of migrant decent are 51% more likely to commit crimes in Britain, and the second generational immigrant is 89% more likely to feel patriotic to their parents country of origin.

They are not a citizen of the country, therefore they should not get a say as to how it should be governed.

being a foreigner myself, i think we do deserve to vote as we actually live here, the right to vote for foreigners could be given through 10+ years of living here perhaps

 @9FVCKLYUKIPagreed…7mos7MO

Thy statically are only good for the economy. buy the stupid tacky **** which makes Britain more wealthy!

 @9FJTK8Yagreed…7mos7MO

They are not British and therefore should not get a say in our politics. Set a minimum term that they have to live here before they can vote, eg ten years.

 @9FMD4K6disagreed…7mos7MO

Foreigners still live in the UK despite coming from a different country, therefore they deserve a right to vote as the result will impact them.

 @9FK6T6WUKIPagreed…7mos7MO

We don't try to vote in their countries, why should they be allowed to vote in ours. If they seek refuge, they get refuge. Voting is not relavent unless they become a fully registered UK citizen.

 @9FHKVT2agreed…7mos7MO

They will obviously vote in favour of immigration despite British people wanting the boats to stop coming

 @9FCNQ7Wagreed…7mos7MO

If the foreigner or Brit is willing to fight for and die for Britain in the British army, then they should have the right to vote. If they do not identify as British but are willing to die for this country, then they should have the vote.

Foreigners, especially ones that have lived her for at least 5 year not only understand the situation of the UK but also diversify opinions as they may be well versed on the politics of their home country and the countries around it.

 @9FTNJ2Ddisagreed…7mos7MO

We should make them at least explore the current way of the country and only after a while let the most experienced vote since more recent foreigners can influence people who have been here a while.

The argument against granting foreign nationals the right to vote is based on the premise that voting is a privilege that should be reserved for citizens of a country . The opponents of this argument believe that non-citizens who are long-term residents of a country should be allowed to vote in local elections, as they are directly affected by the policies and decisions made by the local government.

However, some argue that granting foreign nationals the right to vote would undermine the principle of citizenship and dilute the value of citizenship. They believe that citizenship is a fundamenta…  Read more
