Nobody deserves to die criminals will have more time to reflect on their actions rather than killing them

If someone is an offender once what’s your stop them from doing it again? Allowing them to offend more than once is unleashing a criminal onto the public population just to test if they’re worthy of prison the 4th or 3rd time when they showed you they were worthy of prison the first time

The death penalty is *never* right.

It focuses on punishment and revenge instead of dealing with the root causes.

The death penalty is a poor solution to the problem. Open to abuse and irreversible when found to be in error. Society should aspire to better.

They should be taken to prison and rehabilitated, if this is successful they can become a functioning member of society and possibly undo some of the damage they have caused by donating to charity that helps addicts.

The number of times someone commits an offence does not deny them the right to life, nor does it ever excuse state-sanctioned murder.

Too many times the death penalty is used on wrongfully convicted cases. Even one wrongfully convicted death penalty case is still one life wrongfully taken.
Two wrongs don’t make a right. Imprison them for life. It is economically easier too as the appeals the death penalty convicts undergo whilst waiting are very expensive on the state.
