people working minimum wage jobs are working longer hours, on the same wage, in order to afford the same essentials as before. either minimum wage needs to be increased, or essential products need to be made much more affordable.

No if the rich were taxed more we would have the funds to increase the minimum. Instead of punishing the working class we should punish the rich who can afford it and are causing these issues.

That many people never have enough for the already inflammation of prices, so that if they do get minimum age and are the providers for their families they would finally be able to afford their necessities meaning that prices do not necessarily have to inflate.

Trickle down economics is nonsense. Executives pay and bonuses rise by billions and its ok?? We need to stop the nonsense that workers can't have a fair wage, while it's OK if billionaire bosses can launch themselves into space.
@9FGWPDB6mos6MO
I agree with this statement. If people have more money, demand will be higher and supply will not be enough to satisfy consumers so inflation will happen, meaning no one is better off, as they're working time is still the same value relative to the price of goods.
@9FGVC8X6mos6MO
Mp's can give themselves pay rises without public knowledge or vote. The minimum wage is not in line with the living wage and inflation.
@9FHRRN36mos6MO
People deserve equal pay to a certain degree depending on level of education and skill the current wage is not liveable
@9FGTNFD6mos6MO
prices of products also increase in a never ending cycle the only way to fix this is to regulate pricing or to increase minimum wage

No cause children need to travel and buy food and as food prices and petrol prices is increasing they can’t afford to go out.
@9FHSCK36mos6MO
You don’t have to increase the prices to make profit. If more people have more disposable income then more people are likely to use their money.
@9FC5FY96mos6MO
From experience every time the minimum wage is raised the prices are increased by the manufacturers, hauliers, and the shops to pay for the increase. Nobody really gains much.
@9FGXTR66mos6MO
Minimum wage doesn't change prices, it's the corporations that choose to take advantage of people having more money and upping their prices.
The primary argument advanced in favor of raising the minimum wage is that higher earnings would improve the overall standard of living for minimum wage workers.
@9F9G7877mos7MO
If prices and wages go up they can still afford what is needed to live, with being able to buy some less necessary items.
