Every penny of public money paid by Government into the NHS should be used to directly fund the front line service and not be used to enrich companies and their share holders nor pay the enormous salaries of CEOs.

We should not be profiting from health issues. I believe that we all should pay a share and get a fair share of care.

Paying to be in health shouldn't be allowed, you cannot control when you are ill or not you shouldn't be bombarded with bills to pay when you leave the hospital

The privatisation of NHS care accelerated by Tory policies a decade ago has corresponded with a decline in quality and “significantly increased” rates of death from treatable causes, the first study of its kind says.

Privatisation of medical care kills proper - look at America where people are thrown into debt just for needing an ambulance or emergency surgery. The NHS is one of the best things this country ever did, we cannot turn our backs on it simply because Tory governments have stripped it of all its money.
@9GHGQQL5mos5MO
NHS privatisation will only make us more like the US, privatised hospitals will inflate the cost of medical requirements and will leave lower income individuals in debt if they have to undergo an expensive medical procedure
@9GQ3WYF5mos5MO
Healthcare is a right. It is not a choice to be disabled or live with a long term health condition and you shouldn't be punished for this.
@9GKSHNR5mos5MO
less privatisation means that more people can be put in and out of the hospital and decrease the risk of people waiting around and potentially dying in the waiting room
@9FMF99Z6mos6MO
If it gets privatised but still remains free the standard of service will go up, waiting times will go down and costs to run it will go down
@9FPF8BH6mos6MO
Privatisation of health care in the world has only ever caused a barrier between the populations in regard to who can afford it the end result will be akin to our housing where those who can afford get seen and those who cannot suffer
@9FMBTSC6mos6MO
The NHS is buckling under the weight of an aging
Population with multiple long term conditions diagnosed earlier and a lack of social care infrastructure that supports familial care of our elderly.
Whilst it should remain free, I do feel there is an argument for a flat fee (small) at the point of entry to A and E until the time it is deemed a and e was the appropriate service vs for eg, pharmacy’s, walk in, gp’s ect as a way of deterring inappropriate use away from those who truly need it in the moment.
As someone who works within a social enterprise within the NHS. Seeing care as ‘a business’ is truly the worst thing you can do for patients and staff making it a ‘numbers game’ is and will continue to drive staff away from the nhs.
