A wholly-elected second chamber will be directly accountable elected in "UK legislative elections" in addition to the existing "UK general elections" which we have for the house of commons

Experience is essential to validate the proposals made by the House of Commons. Appointments should be made via professional bodies covering a vast range of industries in order to reduce bias and bribery. Professional bodies should hold internal votes to identify appropriate candidates to be put forward for peerage into the house of lords in order to represent their interests, provide subject matter experience and act on behalf of the professional bodies in all matters relating to their field.
