We need to reduce wealth and income inequality for liberal democracy and capitalism to survive. It is simply unsustainable for CEOs to earn 300 times more than the average employees. Working wages have stagnated. And academic evidence has demonstrated that our economy grew faster when ordinary workers earned a bigger slice of the pie.

Capping bonuses would make the corporations and banks reinvest to provide better products to their customers. If people are overperforming, give them a pay rise.

I personally work for a company that rewards their employees Christmas Bonuses so they have extra money to provide gifts and food for their family, isn't family important?
