If we were to phase out the monarchy over time it would mean more money could be put into our health systems to help the most vulnerable

Abolishing them completely would leave them with nowhere to go but if we let them phase out over time, they can build up their own separate lives.

The monarchy is a long standing staple of British society, and it brings many benefits to the society and country as a whole, most notably and not only the huge amount of money it attracts through tourism from abroad.

There are bigger issues facing the country than abolishing the monarchy . The royal family should pay fair taxation & its power of patronage reduced etc. we can achieve a slimmed down monarchy first.

Although I principally disagree with having a monarchy, we must respect sensitivities and abolish gradually. It's an institution which has existed for centuries, there's little benefit of radical action which could potentially create a polorising societal crisis.
