I think people can have up to 5 children especially if it's 2 relationships and that's just the way the world works. I don't think any more should be added because that's a higher number of children. But If people are in this situation and are struggling to afford it then they should be able to use child bemefit to support the children the best they can. However, It could be monitored better meaning the parents don't use it to their advantage.

There are always going to be cases where people have more children than planned, or have them when they were able to financially support them and have circumstances change so that now becomes difficult. Placing a cap on benefits just means that those unfortunate to exceed this cap due to no fault of their own are punished for it.
