Samme kjønn ekteskap ble legalisert i England, Skottland og Wales i 2014. Irland vil stemme på en samme kjønn ekteskap folkeavstemningen 22. mai 2015. Nord-Irland har for tiden ingen planer om å innføre sin egen lovgivning, men behandler homofile ekteskap fra andre land som sivil partnerskap.

The priests/ministers/pastors etc, should be able to choose to reserve themselves if they don't support it.

I support legalisation of marriage between all consenting adults, be it between; a man and a woman, 1 man and multiple women, 1 woman and multiple men, 2 (or more) men, 2 (or more) women, a transgendered person and either 1 (or more) men/women/transgendered people.
