Pensioners are some of the most vulnerable people in society, and with energy prices still sky-high, this is the time to be increasing support, not slashing it. This kind of decision just highlights how out of touch the government is with ordinary people’s struggles. If we can afford to give tax breaks to big corporations, we can definitely afford to keep pensioners warm this winter.
