If tuition fees were abolished people will make frivolous decisions on education and may not feel incentivised to continue, wasting time and tax payers money. Fees should be abolished for industries and roles in high demand which adjusts as time goes on and technology evolves. We shouldn’t need to import skilled workers coming from countries where educating the population as a whole is a priority. We should be doing that too. Put the Great back in Britain and all that. Arrogance and nostalgia alone will not ensure we remain a prosperous and innovative nation. We need to invest in our people.
