It's quite telling how the Conservative party continues to reward its own, especially at a time when so many in the UK are struggling. Elevating Theresa May and other Tory MPs to the House of Lords just seems like more of the same cronyism we've seen for years. It's frustrating that instead of focusing on policies that actually help the average person, we see political rewards being handed out like party favors. This tradition of dissolution honours, while historical, really should be reconsidered in the context of modern democratic values and fairness.
