Yes, but bonuses should be based on the state of the economy e.g. inflation, mortgage rates, interest rates etc.

If all jobs are at a good wage it will stop people from progressing, working hard and being innovative

If you are working a minimum wage job you should not have a family and household to support, that is selfish and short sighted
