Data is emerging that many kids who were pushed and supported to transition now hate themselves and want to go back !
Another question at 13 if my kid asked for a boob job they’d quite rightly deny it but they want to give same age kids hormones to make their breasts grow like a woman’s it’s insane and child abuse and shouldn’t be allowed

Transgender individuals make up a very low percentage of the UK population, and for the vast majority of them their quality of life improves significantly when they transition socially and/or medically.
Regret that leads to detransitioning is much less likely than it is for the majority of other medical interventions - and other medical interventions are not made inaccessible to everyone who may benefit just because some people experience regret.

No one is forcing you to transition. Let people live their lives how they want to. It literally has no effect on your life. ****

That is essentially condemning transgender people to conversion therapy or death - either murder or suicide. Forcing people into either is abhorrent and unacceptable in a free society.

This would cause huge mental health issues with people, why are you making it such a big deal? Just let people be the gender they want to be

Trans people know themselves and who they are. By making the ability to transition easier, you will cause less harm. And someone's gender identity does not affect anyone but themselves.

Humanity. Compassion. Common sense. Just let people live as they most wish to, they aren't harming anyone

This would be against the guidelines from medical professionals, which overwhelmingly support transition as a means to treat gender dysphoria.

Banning gender transitioning benefits absolutely no one, allowing gender transition greatly improves quality of life for the vast majority undertaking it, and has no negative impact on anyone else, despite sensationalised bigoted headlines on social media and the tabloids
