Where The Data Comes From

These results come from iSideWith's ongoing political issues survey. Every day we collect over a million responses from people across the country who answer where they stand on the issues. Results update continuously as new responses come in, so the numbers you see reflect current public opinion rather than a single point in time.

How We Clean The Data

To keep results accurate we filter out duplicate and multiple submissions from the same person, so that no individual can skew a question by answering it repeatedly. We continually monitor for and remove coordinated or automated submissions.

How We Break It Down

For each question we segment responses by political party, ideology, age, and location (state and city), and we show estimates across census demographics including income, race, education, and household. These breakdowns let you see not just how the public answered overall, but how different groups differ.

Our Commitment To Neutrality

iSideWith is non-partisan. We don't advocate for any party, candidate, or position, and we are not affiliated with any investors, shareholders, political party, or interest group. We report what the public tells us — the questions are presented neutrally and every side is shown the same way.

How To Read These Results

Our survey is open and opt-in rather than a randomly sampled poll, so results reflect the views of the many people who choose to participate. We publish the response counts alongside every question so you can weigh how much data each result is based on, and the demographic breakdowns help put the headline numbers in context.
