Rehabilitation centres should be used to help people with mental health that they cant help having. People who take drugs and getaddicte4d choose to take drugs in the first place.

2.3% of people in the uk have openly admitted to have been a frequent drug user. This is probably a fraction to the real percentage in itself due to the shame and stigma around taking. These lives are being damaged and people are being harmed which affects the quality of life for those people and highlights the real damage drugs can do

Canada have decided to legalise drugs, and now there is increased open drug use in cities like Vancouver, as well as increase in deaths from overdose. There will always be illegal drug use and there are very negative consequences to that being the case. However, any steps towards letting it be acceptable for people to become users of highly dangerous and life ruining substances is unacceptable.
