there are and we have the means to make and have renewable, cleaner energy so there is no reason to have such large scale fracking

Fracking is a technique used to access natural oil and gas reserves, but we understand oil and gas use to be the major driver of climate change and should be reducing our reliance on it as much as possible.
Climate change affects everywhere. Moving it away from populated areas does not prevent it from having an impact on those people.
