Medical feels should be paid by travel insurance. If they do not have this, then it should be paid for.

 @9P7KX3Hanswered…10mos10MO

No for Emergency care and I mean like save your life or a limb or reduce sudden chronic pain due to an accident.
Yes for anything outside of that such as any forgotten medications (we have to pay if we lose ours) for any minor injury or illness clinic aswell
An insurance option should be available.. 0

 @9MTH5CQanswered…10mos10MO

Healthcare should be free to those with insurance who travel from abroad or should be free if their own country has free healthcare that can substitute the cost

 @9MNW69Hanswered…10mos10MO

Depends on the level of care they need and why they’re in the country. If on holiday, shouldn’t pay, if they are visiting on the basis of getting health care, they should pay

 @9M6DYRTanswered…11mos11MO

Pay after treatment, but not before they return home, medical insurance must be compulsory before visit

 @9M65HW4answered…11mos11MO

Only in the case medical tourism isn’t used for example coming to the uk from the USA for free healthcare

 @9J9VQWJanswered…1yr1Y

emergency such as cardiac arrest will be treated and not billed. But no pre-existing conditions should be free.

 @9BXGHFCGreenanswered…2yrs2Y

As they have not paid UK tax there should be a small charge but it should still be made easily accessible

 @9BWYF87answered…2yrs2Y

No, but there should be a limit to how long they can receive NHS treatment.

 @96NVYLSSNPanswered…2yrs2Y

Depends. If the case is stupidity (like getting their penis stuck in a toaster) then yes. Other than silly cases, most should be free

 @966BGWSanswered…2yrs2Y

Should have to prove insurance - but free emergency care for asylum seekers etc.

 @92HFC9Qanswered…3yrs3Y

Offer a similar system like that of the GHIC card but for foreign nationalities.

 @8Z77BL8answered…3yrs3Y

Yes if they can afford it but no-one should be denied urgent care due to lack of money

 @8Y2GV9Xanswered…3yrs3Y

 @8WKS8KTanswered…3yrs3Y

Shouldn't have to pay for Emergency Care, but should have to pay for other services unless tax payer or citizen.

 @8W2CP73SNPanswered…4yrs4Y

No, emergency care should not be denied to those who cannot afford it, costs should be recovered from their nation of origin.

 @8SR54YLanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8SPWZDYanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but with flexible payment plans ensuring people who need treatment aren’t denied it

 @8SPN3MCanswered…4yrs4Y

I feel if people travel to the up they should take our travel insurance as many need to when going on holiday. There should be an excess to pay as there is elsewhere

 @8SNS8ZPanswered…4yrs4Y

Emergency treatment should be given regardless where you are from however things like dental work shouldn’t be done outside of uk citizens as it is cheaper over here

 @8SNPS9SLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

 @8SMZZQGanswered…4yrs4Y

They should pay a small sum towards the treatment as it is United Kingdom citizens who are paying to run the nhs. They should also be given years to pay it back if they cannot afford it upright

 @8SMPWFZanswered…4yrs4Y

Emergency care should be provided for free when needed, but the system should not be regularly abused.

 @8SJ9CFYLiberal Democratanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only a fixed portion of the medical fees. Similar to current NHS dental services.

 @8SJ3VLRLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

 @8SGGXDJLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

It should be the same as a UK citizen would find visiting their country

 @8SDZX8FLiberal Democratanswered…4yrs4Y

They should be required to take out travel insurance which would cover the cost of care

 @8S44YH9Liberal Democratanswered…4yrs4Y

Where travel medical insurance is available and affordable to the visitor, they should be expected to use it. However, no one should be refused for not having such insurance.

 @8S3QSVPanswered…4yrs4Y

No one should go untreated but wherever possible payment should be made equal to the health care to uk citizens in their country

 @8RWM6Q9answered…4yrs4Y

Free emergency medical treatment in uk of we have the same in there countries

 @8RR7HW8answered…4yrs4Y

Where resiprical assurance is provide for UK citizens visiting their county of origin

 @8RMZ2YTanswered…4yrs4Y

Depends on the procedure so emergency care no but non emergency yes via insurance provided before entry to the UK

 @8QPXGPQanswered…4yrs4Y

Those whose countries do not offer free emergency services to UK citizens should.

 @8Q4QX6Qanswered…4yrs4Y

If it's an emergency, it should be free, just as if we were on holiday and had to go to the emergency room, we shouldn't have to pay

 @8Q4Q6MLanswered…4yrs4Y

Should be given but as if someone from the uk went abroad they would have to pay after if no insurance

 @8PXP97Zanswered…4yrs4Y

Emergency care should not be denied if you don’t have the means to pay but should be charged to insurance wherever possible

 @8PKNQL6answered…4yrs4Y

if they have lived here for 3 years legally minimum then yes? or atleast at a discounted rate

 @8P57PWSanswered…4yrs4Y

No, not at point of usage. However, a bill should be issued after treatment.

 @8NFTKBTanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8KMJJVZLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

if they have insurance then they shouldn’t need to pay if it’s covered

 @9BQVXJ7Labouranswered…2yrs2Y

If they are visiting yes if they are residents or have right to remain then no

 @9BQT6MGanswered…2yrs2Y

I think depending on what kind of medical emergency it is should depend on whether or not foreigners should have to pay for emergency healthcare

 @99CS8PSGreenanswered…2yrs2Y

Emergency care should not be denied to those who cannot afford it but there should be a cost to those abusing the healthcare system in the UK foreign and domestic

 @98ZW3LNanswered…2yrs2Y

Depends if it was an accident or not. if they came over here for the nhs specifically than yes. if it was an accident on holiday no.

 @98B854Kanswered…2yrs2Y

 @97Z3XC8answered…2yrs2Y

If it is an emergency situation then no but if they can afford it they should pay for it

 @97N8C4Manswered…2yrs2Y

 @97G6J7Vanswered…2yrs2Y

Depends on how long they are “visiting” for and what they are putting into our economy
