Should critical race theory be taught in primary and secondary school?
Critical race theory is the claim that institutions, laws, and history are inherently racist. It argues that white people have put up social, economic, and legal barriers between the races in order to maintain their elite status, both economically and politically and that the source of poverty and criminal behavior in minority communities is due exclusively to these barriers.

No, racism is simply a "woke" idea pedalled by the National Trust for political purposes

Kids should be made aware that this is a legitimate viewpoint, and outlook on society, but that some disagree with it. The job of teachers isn't to tell pupils exactly what to think, but to open students minds to all different kinds of thinking and make sure they're making an informed choice on what to believe.

Yes, For year 9 and above and only in a way that both acknowledges the past but doesn't make it seem like current day people are still responsible for the past actions

No, Critical Race Theory is a University-level legal theory course and is inappropriate at primary and secondary levels.

Critical Race Theory is a University-level legal theory course and is inappropriate at primary and secondary levels. This question is based on an incorrect definition of the term.

Yes, but only for those in secondary school and should be taught as a point of view rather than as fact

I am totally torn, because it is true in some circumstances that we are inherently racist, but in most cases, it is not true.
Yes, as long as they are likewise taught opposing views of critical race theory.

Yes, but it should be taught as a viewpoint, rather than fact, to secondary school students only
@96JFJ2Q2yrs2Y
Yes, but not until secondary school and even then it should only be taught as a point of view rather than a statement of fact
