I think that children should be taught about race and what race they are but still to treat everyone the same

Yes we cannot end racism without acknowledging unstated are inherent racist but also raising kids to be colour blind too it’s not one size fits all

It should be integrated slowly into education so that the racial bias that we have which is mostly unconscious can be reduced.

Yes, most of what is put down "critical race theory is either an inaccurate read of a simple to understand concept (racism isn't just "bad people behaving badly" but becomes baked in to societal structures and culture) or a projection from bad-faith actors.

Yes, as to grow up colour blind is counter intuitive as all our difference should be embraced not ignored, History should be taught as a whole not to an agenda to victimize or prosecute people by race. People are inherently good and bad, its individual choice and circumstance that dictate that outcome and if you look back through history understanding that then you can use it to make the right choices in the future

Yes, but this need to provide information without shame. So we can prevent the mistakes of the past without belittling anyone.

Children often don’t see race in that way and get bad language about it from their parents, teaching it that young may have the adverse effect of introducing them to othering too early

I think that racism has been active in the past few years and is still but less so. We should teach children that it was horrible when racism was strong and to respect everyone.

No, children should be taught the history of racism and its contemporary context. This is not the same as institutions being inherently racist but should demonstrate how systems can perpetuate it.

 @9B9M8YVanswered…2yrs2Y

No, but they should be taught about racism from a non-biased lense and the curriculum should encourage transparency in retelling historical truths and their modern day effects
