What personal experiences have made you question the effectiveness of our current voting system?

It's not a "personal" experience, but I do think that a party's vote share should be reflected in how many seats they end up with - and that clearly doesn't happen in the UK at any level.

What would your ideal voting experience involve to make it more engaging and memorable?

 @9KMWNXRLiberal Democratanswered…2mos2MO

Enable electronic voting, more clear communication and information about who your options are and what the are standing for and open up the voting system to the whole population not just citizens. Also any vote that is later found to have been highly influence by lies / non-truth so be voided and re-run with fact clarification, it should be illegal and a criminal offence for politicians to lie

I think FPTP is an awful system to use, however, a more proportional representation wouldn't be any better as they system they have in Ireland is equally rubbish

Yes, I'd feel much better. Plenty of political parties have policies that I agree with and don't agree with. I'd rather be able to vote for individual policies. There representatives of the people, so let the people have a voice too.
