You believe that embracing and celebrating diverse racial backgrounds will lead to a more harmonious and inclusive society.
Multiracialism is a political ideology that emphasizes the coexistence and mutual respect among multiple racial groups within a society. Can the experience of being multiracial offer a different perspective on societal issues, and if so, how?
@9LGXKMT1mo1MO
Of course, as we can see before our eyes huge numbers of immigration into city centres has its impacts both positive and negative.
It’s true that many of the poorer immigrants will do the lower paid/low skill jobs that the ‘natives’ don’t want to do anymore.
The nhs was basically built from the group up from African immigrants which received proper training and had long and lasting careers.
We have taxi company’s and delivery jobs all over the uk which now employ a vast amount of overseas workers.

Yes. It can act as a compass on societal issues. If something is not effecting me, yet effects someone of a different racial background, I should be bothered by this, and should work to help alleviate this issue because it is multiracialism and multiculturalism that has built this great country.

How can we create spaces where discussions about race are productive and promote understanding?
@ISIDEWITH6mos6MO
Do you feel multiracial individuals should have to choose one racial identity over another, and why?
@9HQNY6N5mos5MO
No, they should not have to choose one specific racial identity if they are multi racial. That doesn’t make any sense, one side shouldn’t have to picked than the other they can tap into all their different ethnicities.
@9HQNX755mos5MO
No, and I think the question is a bad question. I don’t think a person should have to choose a racial identity at all, I don’t think it should matter one way or the other
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
How could local events or festivals be designed to celebrate and educate about multiracial identities?
@9KDTW453mos3MO
Promote more multicutural events and include all of the community
@ISIDEWITH3mos3MO
What does 'identity' mean to you, and how does your racial background influence it?
@9K93DS73mos3MO
I think racial background has no effect on identity as people cannot be described by Thier race or sex
@ISIDEWITH2mos2MO
When have you experienced or observed the blending of different racial identities, and what impact did it have on your understanding of culture?
@9L6FKRX2mos2MO
I've never had any sort of reaction to the colour of people mixing. It genuinely does not matter in any way to me, I'm not racist at all
