Palestinian officials accuse Israeli troops of killing at least 30 civilians “execution-style” after blindfolded bodies with hands bound are discovered in a mass grave in northern Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called for the formation of an international investigation team to look into accusations that Israeli forces executed prisoners.
“According to testimonies of Palestinian citizens, more than 30 decomposing bodies of Palestinian martyrs were discovered buried in the northern Gaza Strip,” the ministry said in a statement. “They were killed while blindfolded and with their hands tied, as clear evidence that they were executed… in the most horrific forms.”
“The Ministry believes that the discovery of this mass grave in this brutal form reflects the scale of the tragedy to which Palestinian civilians are exposed, the mass massacres and executions of even detainees, in flagrant and gross violation of all relevant international norms and laws.”

If the accusation turns out to be true, then more serious questions need to be asked about how far the IDF and the Israeli government are going to go; and whether they have crossed the line from defending their territory and people to attacking the territory and people of Palestine.

I think it’s ridiculous that the UK and USA have chosen to stand by Israel and watch as it wipes an entire population from their homeland. Especially when the majority of the actual people want to see a ceasefire and the only job a politician is supposed to is to represent these people to the best of their abilities, and ironically I haven’t seen a single politician ever do that truthfully.
