I’m not sold on the idea that firing 300+ drones and missiles was only meant to be “performative” and not inflict real damage. Seems like if that was your goal, you could accomplish it without wasting so many valuable munitions. But who knows

In an ideal world we wouldn't be resorting to the use of military resources in order to resolve conflicts - Iran were acting in defence against an occupier, but ultimately it is always devastating to see how easily lives are put at stake for the sake of conflict resolution
