The Israeli officials said the talks with the Egyptians on Friday were constructive and that the Egyptians made it clear they intend to put pressure on Hamas to secure a deal for the release of hostages.

Israel should have sent in their special forces instead of bombing Gaza and wiping out innocent civilians indiscriminately. They have created a new generation of potential hamas sympathisers and fighters through their actions.
