Lab-grown meat is produced by culturing animal cells and could serve as an alternative to traditional livestock farming. Proponents argue that it can reduce environmental impact and animal suffering, and improve food security. Opponents argue that it may face public resistance and unknown long-term health effects.

I think further study is required, but I think that there should be a shift towards plant-based alternatives instead.

No, ban it and support grass fed farmed animals from farmers, not MNCs or philanthrocapitalists like Bill Gates

The science of lab grown meat is too young. Too expensive, can't be scaled up on mass and is not more eco efficient at this time.

I do support the idea of less co2 emissions from meat farming, but do want to support farmers towards quality rather than quantity

Only if it is shown to have reduced effect on the environment than traditional meat production - in terms of waste and gas produced

I don’t think so, however if tested and it is found to be clean with no side effects or issues then I wouldn’t be against it.

Yes, as long as high quality is maintained and companies are transparent about the content of their products e.g. contains x% lab grown meat
@9NKXW6F10mos10MO
Yes, if it can be proven to be a safe and cost-effective means of replacing or supplementing regular meat.
No, but I think this type of research and food development is interesting in terms of could it help poverty and famine, especially in countries where climate change results in the failure of agriculture.

Not all meats but possibly half of the most consumed meat to reduce deconstruction of habitat and farming and co2 emissions
@9MVGZXS 11mos11MO
Yes, but only to subsidise British meat and after stringent tests
@9PDJ7MJ10mos10MO
people should be allowed to eat what they want however the meat and dairy industry shouldn’t be so corrupt
