As the UK gears up for the 2024 General Election, the political landscape is becoming increasingly competitive.
Labour's Keir Starmer faces scrutiny over tax policies during an LBC interview, while Prime Minister Rishi Sunak campaigns in south-west England, defending Conservative agricultural policies against Labour's alleged contempt. The Tories are shifting to a defensive strategy amid fears of losing voters to Reform UK, with polls suggesting a potential shift in voter allegiance. Nigel Farage's return to politics as the leader of Reform UK has introduced a new dynamic to the election, with his party's manifesto and electoral impact drawing significant attention.
This development marks a critical moment in the election, highlighting the fluidity of UK politics and the potential for a significant shift in the country's political landscape.

How would you feel if a political party you didn't support won the election, and what specific policy concerns would cause those feelings?
@9PF9WW72yrs2Y
A political party I don't support is going to win the election, and my specific policy concerns are that they will chicken out of doing anything important for the country, just like they did in 1997.
@9PF9KYV2yrs2Y
My primary concerns have to do with the cost of living crisis and education. I have no faith in the Conservatives to deliver positively on either of these as they have shown that they cannot, and I believe that the Reform party is all bluster and would not do much to support the actual needs of the country. I am hopeful that whoever wins, demonstrates some real solutions that will ACTUALLY positively impact the majority of the British public.

Not yet sure who I do and don't support - all parties have some silly policies but nothing standing out as too ridiculous.

Considering personal values and societal needs, which leadership quality do you think is most important for a political leader to have in today's world?
@9PF9KYV2yrs2Y
The ability to listen and respond to what is actually going on. Being proactive rather than reactive.

Why Reform’s manifesto doesn’t need to add up
It was the moment that Reform outpaced the Conservatives by one point. It is within the margin of error but is still, at least, symbolically significant. The arrival of Nigel Farage has had a non-frivolous impact on the electoral topography.
