maybe it depends on the background of the situation and what other stuff they have achieved

I should not as they have not shown active change and I can't have trust in a party that bring such false promises

It depends, if it seemed that they had made effort to fulfill their promise but failed I may. Most politicians just make promises they have no intention of honouring, to gain votes.
