Delegates representing Democratic voters who cast “uncommitted” ballots in the party's primaries held a news conference this morning, reiterating their calls for Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party to call for an arms embargo against Israel, and an end to its deadly military campaign in Gaza.
“We can’t wait any longer,” said Abbas Alawieh, a Michigan uncommitted delegate who met privately with Harris’s campaign manager on Thursday.
“We’re in touch with the real humans, humans as real as any one of us sitting in this room, who are being obliterated, their entire family is being obliterated.”
