Ukrainian air defenses successfully intercepted a Russian hypersonic missile attack on Kyiv during rush hour, preventing significant damage and casualties.

The attack, which targeted the capital as civilians were commuting to work and school, was part of a broader offensive that also included strikes near the Starokostiantyniv airbase. Despite the intensity of the assault, Ukrainian authorities reported that missile debris fell in several districts of Kyiv, but no major damage was caused.
