PORT-AU-PRINCE (Reuters) - A Spirit Airlines flight coming into Haitian capital Port-au-Prince was struck by gunfire on Monday, forcing it to be diverted to the Dominican Republic, the Miami Herald reported.
The Herald report, citing sources, said the aircraft landed safely.
Spirit did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.
