I think Bridget Phillipson is absolutely right to be concerned about this bill

While we should always show compassion to those who are suffering, the sanctity of life is something we can’t compromise on. There’s a real danger of vulnerable people being pressured or feeling like they’re a burden, and we have to protect them. Life should be valued from beginning to natural end. We need to focus more on improving palliative care and support, not opening a door to something so morally complex.
