It's outrageous that working families are being hit with yet another council tax hike while big corporations and the wealthy get away with paying far less than their fair share. Councils are struggling because of years of underfunding by the government, forcing them to pass the burden onto ordinary people instead of properly investing in public services. We need real tax reform that ensures those with the most wealth contribute fairly, rather than squeezing everyday households even further.
