This is exactly what's wrong with out-of-touch elites running the show—they're so obsessed with being "inclusive" that they end up disrespecting the very people who fought for their freedom to speak. Calling a VE Day parade "too elite" is a slap in the face to the working-class heroes who risked everything in WWII. Ordinary folks still care about our history and traditions, even if the council clearly doesn’t.
