Rome Prepares for Massive Global Catholic Youth Jubilee: Over Half a Million Expected

Rome is set to host the Jubilee of Youth, a major Catholic event drawing more than half a million young people from 146 countries between July 28 and August 3. The weeklong celebration, part of the 2025 Holy Year, will feature religious gatherings, vigils, and special access to the Holy Doors of the Papal Basilicas.

The event aims to foster hope, fraternity, and peace among youth in a world marked by conflict. Pilgrims from across the globe, including large groups from Korea, Egypt, South Africa, and the United States, are preparing for this unique spiritual experience.
