The latest Henley Passport Index reveals a major shift in global travel freedom, with Asian countries like Singapore, Japan, and South Korea dominating the top spots for the world's most powerful passports.
Singapore retains its crown, offering visa-free access to 193 destinations, while the US and UK have both dropped to their lowest rankings ever, with the US now at 10th place. India has made its biggest leap in over a decade, climbing to 77th place and gaining visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 59 countries. Meanwhile, several other countries, including Canada, Greece, and the UAE, have also improved their standings, while passports from Pakistan and Afghanistan remain among the weakest.
The rankings highlight growing disparities in global mobility and the increasing influence of Asian nations in international travel.
