Foreign aid either ends up going to waste or does little to solve problems in the long run. Private charity and foreign direct investment by businesses should be encouraged instead.

Again, it depends on the circumstances. We should increase foreign aid as long as it doesn’t affect our economy negatively. However if we require money, we should be able to decrease it without affecting the aid we give out as much.
