Criminal politicians are still criminals, if workers throughout Britain are faced with discrimination when applying for jobs when they have a criminal record, the same should apply for politicians. Instead of letting these people decide how to run the country, they should focus on rehabilitating themselves first.
Public office is the highest level of social governance and as such, we should only tolerate the highest level of quality of candidate, with a true and just morale compass with which, to represent us. We should not be accepting a below par standard in government. Too long have we just been ignorant to the cesspit of politics. Just look at the whole Tory party during lockdown, should they really be at top office? Do they really represent us? Will they actually stay committed to the mandate on which they are elected?
