Abolish the House of Lords, replace it with proportional representation, remove hereditary peers and bishops. Positions must be earned, not given.

It should be replaced by non-hereditary/life peers, but as a second upper elected house, like the US Senate/house of representatives.

It shouldn’t be abolished, but reformed (hereditary peers shouldn’t be allowed)
