No, I believe implementing something like this would only encourage and reinforce addiction regardless of being supervised by medical professionals. With that being said, I believe drugs should be legalised, regulated and taxed.

 @9PRFWMKanswered…9mos9MO

Yes a safe place for people to go to would be beneficial however it would drain funding if it were staffed by medical professionals. Safer drug use should be promoted.

 @9PP89J2answered…9mos9MO

Yes because addicts should be able to use drugs safely but no because we shouldn’t be encouraging drug use

 @9PMGMFTanswered…9mos9MO

Certain drugs should be legalized but things such as Heroin that provide no benefits should be illegal

 @9PK3R9Nanswered…10mos10MO

I think there should be more support and rehabilitation and family members should be able to admit family members who need help instead of someone under in influence making the choice

 @9NXWNJ6answered…10mos10MO

Yes but it should be done in a way to get to get people over their addiction and to stop them using illegal drugs.

 @9N3LS45answered…10mos10MO

No, but only if there are rehabilitation programmes in place to help people fight their substance abuse effectively

 @9PQKJD7Labouranswered…9mos9MO

Mandatory rehab/jail for prolific drug abusers like heroin/crack cocaine. These people contribute nothing to society but drain it. This would create more jobs in health care too

 @9NQ35RKanswered…10mos10MO

drug abuse should be treated as a health issue, however I think funding could be used for a more worthwhile cause

 @9M85BNGanswered…11mos11MO

they should have places where they can go to under the supervision of medical staff but they are not allowed to use the drugs to stop the addiction

 @9JCQDJ8answered…1yr1Y

People addicted to drugs should be given medival care to cure the addiction but drugs shouldn't be criminalised and people shouldn't be forced to stop taking drugs.

 @9FYR5BMLabouranswered…1yr1Y

a lot of drug culture is based around counterculture, people would probably not support the government establishing it

 @9NRKK6Tanswered…10mos10MO

This isn’t a straight forward issue. I would like to see help afford but accountability has to be taken along with the will to get well.

 @9NXQR2G answered…10mos10MO

yes but only open to people who are actually addicted rather than anyone just looking to use. require a gp reference

 @9BNHQ7Danswered…2yrs2Y

Sure but no life saving procedures allowed- no resuscitation or narcan.

 @9BNG345answered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but those in these places must start to reduce their intake in order to stop the addiction and those admitted must be verified by an NHS drug specialist to say that they are addicted.

 @8YL92F6answered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but only if partnered with a program to reduce the use and reliance on drugs by individuals. With the end goal go completely cut the drugs out at the programs end

 @8WJ2Y76answered…3yrs3Y

No, but more incentives to reduce illegal drug use should be implemented

 @8TWGBTCanswered…4yrs4Y

this is a really difficult question to answer ans there is not enough data for me to make a decision

 @8TTQD3VConservativeanswered…4yrs4Y

No, but decriminalise drug use. Increase spending on more resources for disrupting supply chains.

 @8TPB9XQanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, it’s a health issue but it should be coupled with drug dependence reduction programmes.

 @8T78YWVanswered…4yrs4Y

No This would never resolve a drug problem just encourage it and give younger people access to harmful substances

 @8SBJVFSGreenanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, with the aim of decrease overdoses and weening users off illegal drugs

 @8RZRY76answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but have mandatory rehabilitation meetings to help slowly rehabilitate those using the drugs

 @8NKSJ36answered…4yrs4Y

Yes and they should hire social workers to assist their lives' tending in the correct direction.

 @9C3SC2QLabouranswered…2yrs2Y

No but punish possession of drugs with mandatory rehab and counselling. Chop the hands off the dealers with no benefits payable.

 @9BHH6X2answered…2yrs2Y

No, but drugs should be decriminalized and the government should establish programs to help treat those with drug addictions

 @8YBT2JRanswered…3yrs3Y

Yea try it but they should be heavily regulated, Mariana legalised and keep drugs heavily restricted

 @9BX9RY7answered…2yrs2Y

This is a complex issue that most people will not understand unless they work in rehabilitation - a nonsense question!
