Yes and improve education on drugs so people know what they’re getting into

 @9QNCFV7answered…9mos9MO

Yes, for the majority of drugs. They should be taxed and regulated. I also think funding should be increased for addiction prevention and rehabilitation.

 @9QLCZV4answered…9mos9MO

Weed should be decriminalised, but all other drugs should be a criminal offence. However, I feel the police have more important things to deal with then drugs. We say we have no spare prisons... So stop giving them such ridiculous sentences, and look at other forms of punishment.

 @9QFJ96JLabouranswered…9mos9MO

not for all drugs, actively reduce sentences for those who will be prosecuted and those who are currently serving time, as well as increasing funding for addiction prevention and rehab

 @9QCJ5GJanswered…9mos9MO

Yes, but only for drugs with little to no negative effects and may even have medicinal benefits? And also reduce sentences for people serving time from the decriminalised drugs

 @9MZ6FG8Labouranswered…10mos10MO

Yes, focus on community support and addiction/rehabilitation support. Harsher punishments for dealers and those profiteering from the drug crisis

 @9KDM9N5answered…1yr1Y

Only class c with strong restrictions on which one you can buy but anyone who sells it without license has a harsh punishment

 @9GKJ7H3answered…1yr1Y

Drugs used in a medicinal manor should he decriminalised but those that harm or cause harm to the person should have restrictions and be sanctioned .

 @xxEL1SH4xx answered…2yrs2Y

Decriminalise drugs with medicinal benefits ie marijuana and focus on rehabilitation.

 @9MQZ3R6answered…10mos10MO

The two above combined: no but decriminalise medicinal drugs and increase funding for addiction prevention and rehab.

 @9FJZKQCanswered…2yrs2Y

This is a complex issue requiring specialist authoritative research and advice.

 @8MR796Panswered…4yrs4Y

Only for recreational drugs such as marijuana not harsh drugs that are dangerous

 @8GTGGD8answered…4yrs4Y

Only cannabis, and there should be tax to increase tax income for the government

 @9BMGX6Banswered…2yrs2Y

Decriminalise drugs and reduce sentences, but provide better support and rehabilitation for those suffering from addiction

 @964RL8KLabouranswered…2yrs2Y

yes reduce sentences of those already incarcerated and replace this with rehabilitation programs

 @95XP6KYanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, provide support systems to get off drugs, and heavy penalties for dealers and smugglers.

 @95Q7JJ2answered…3yrs3Y

Only marijuana. However for more dangerous drugs there should be more places to go for help and better help getting off drugs

 @95KK3SJanswered…3yrs3Y

 @94W6BGPWomen's Equalityanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, however with more watch on drug addiction levels, and also make treatment more accessible and well known

 @94CR9VQanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, for decriminalisation to allow users to get aid, but no to legalisation.

 @92RHDSJanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes however keep anything Class A drugs and decrease the sentences for classes below.

 @92Q7CMLLabouranswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but only a handful of drugs in which have to be prescribed for medicinal uses and the users have to get a certain age

 @92MM4L5answered…3yrs3Y

Depends on which drugs and what effects of long term use are on health. Also, who would regulate and financially benefit?

 @9297JMYanswered…3yrs3Y

No, but increase funding for prevention and rehabilitation, also increase punishment for drug use and dealers

 @8ZWZKZZanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes and also legalise and regulate the production and sale of all drugs

 @8YW4TFZanswered…3yrs3Y

I believe we should decriminalise marijuana use and if anyone is struggling with use of the drug offer help and support. Same goes with other drugs however, they should not have decreased or increased sentences.

 @8YBJXZNanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, if we can offer drug rehabilitation centers that can help people get off of drugs and provide them cheaply to reduce the power of gangs.

 @8Y88PNLanswered…3yrs3Y

 @8XMMMXXanswered…3yrs3Y

No, but decriminalise drugs that offer medicinal benefits such as marijuana. Funding for addiction prevention and rehabilitation should also be increased

 @8XBF8Q5answered…3yrs3Y

 @8WTYG5Ranswered…3yrs3Y

they should be legalised so the dealers are taken out of the equation. decriminilisation of use does not remove dealers.

 @8W8V9R5answered…3yrs3Y

Only for cannabis, it should be sold through pharmaceutical companies & those serving time should be allowed reduced sentences

 @8W3XSCXanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only for certain drugs. And drug users should not be sent to prison, but to rehabilitation centres where they can be helped properly.

 @8W3XBG3answered…4yrs4Y

yes, however it depends on the drugs. for example marijuana it is proven it has less harsh effects that regular cigarettes, however because its illegal a lot of people add other hard drugs to it.

 @8V9MPVZLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

Yes. If people re using drugs, most of the time they are using them to cope with their own problems in life. Those people deserve help, not punishment.

 @8V88BB8answered…4yrs4Y

Drug possession and use should be decriminalised but there should be increased punishment for drug dealers.

 @8TQK23Fanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but not for all drugs and decrease the time for those already sentenced

 @8TK3D3Banswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, for drugs that don't make the taker dangerous to those around them

 @8TF5QYKanswered…4yrs4Y

No, but depending on the type of drug that Is being used and the amount

 @8T9WGVDLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, all drug possession and consumption should be decriminalised but rehab should be offered for class A drug use. Dealing of class A drugs should remain criminalised

 @8SR2YWManswered…4yrs4Y

 @8SQ376Kanswered…4yrs4Y

Decriminalise drugs but get them from pharmacies. Give drug dealers prison sentences. Give more support to addicts.

 @8SP9GCJanswered…4yrs4Y

Only weed should be legalised, and only in specific areas so non smokers arent affected

 @8SJ6DMJLiberal Democratanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but drugs such as cannabis for people who suffer from epilepsy should be legalised

 @8RS49DCGreenanswered…4yrs4Y

No, but increase funding for addiction prevention and rehabilitation AND decriminalise drugs which offer medicinal benefits

 @8RK2DQManswered…4yrs4Y

It depends on the drug. Once it is legal, people might commit less crime and be less scared of the police

 @8R8FXS5answered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but put the money previously used to tackle drug crime into rehabilitation and education of drug users.

 @8R7785Banswered…4yrs4Y

 @8QS82S9Greenanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8QRHBF7answered…4yrs4Y

Yes but only for recreational/medicinal cannabis, similar to the Canadian System

 @8QQ6N4SGreenanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and retroactively wipe possession-based criminal records and end sentences for those already serving time

 @8Q4W32Sanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, instead of making it a criminal offence, help the people that are drug users by providing more rehabilitation centres

 @8Q4QBBFLabouranswered…4yrs4Y

No, but decriminalise drugs that offer medicinal benefits and increase funding for prevention and rehabilitation.

 @8Q4D6Z6answered…4yrs4Y

 @8PR7JBYanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8PH9K3Nanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8P49WBBanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only plant based. However we would need to take tests on product before its sold, and get yourself tested to check if you don't have any genetic problems before you can take them.

 @8NTRJQCanswered…4yrs4Y

no, but increase funding for addiction prevention and rehabilitation, and decriminalise drugs that offer medical benefits

 @8NNSXX7answered…4yrs4Y

i think that some drugs should be decriminalised and increase funding for addiction prevention and rehabilitation for the others

 @8NMWH4Hanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, and replacement of the punishment with treatment and medical support like what has happened in portugal: they have seen huge success in reducing their drug problem. Let's do something that actually works for once.

 @8NKPNKFanswered…4yrs4Y

Drug laws were brought in based on outdated science. Laws should be updated to reflect what we now know about each drug.

 @8NFYMNZSNPanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes but to an extent,things like weed should be used in selective cafes and everything else should be monitored

 @8NDS9MGanswered…4yrs4Y

 @8K56BPCanswered…4yrs4Y

Depends on the Drug, should be more research into drugs with medicinal purposes
