Yes, but only if the product being tested is deemed 'necessary' for example, medicine and not cosmetics or other vanity items

I am ambivalent on this . Definitely not for cosmetics but life saving vaccines or anti cancer drugs ..

depends on the benefits of the drug being tested, if it has significant benefits and could save lives then it could be justified

Never for cosmetics, never for primates or sentient mammals. If necessary they must not be confined in small spaces or caused pain.

Yes, but there should be strict regulations to ensure the animals’ quality of life and that they endure the least possible suffering with harsh penalties for breaching these rules.
