Yes, but there should be strict rules regarding the kind of testing, types of animals, and assurance of avoiding unnecessary cruelty

 @9PQ7MK6answered…9mos9MO

Yes, but there should be very high standards of welfare required and length should be limited to a small proportion of the animal's average lifespan

No, unless it's not for cosmetics and/or their physiology would match understanding reactions to ours and it's done ethically.

I don’t think using a live animal for testing is fair but using an animal cell and then a human cell in clinical trials is necessary to make sure products are safe

Only recently deceased animals (by natural causes) should be tested on, in a system similar to organ donations after death. Otherwise, under no circumstances should animal testing be legal.

never for cosmetics, and only in drug testing where absolutely necessary.

 @8YR5BQYConservativeanswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, as long as a treatment would be given to animals if it causes any harm to them

 @8YCCFFYLabouranswered…3yrs3Y

Yes, but regulation must be strict to ensure all companies do their utmost to ensure animals are not unnecessarily harmed

 @8R4WKWWanswered…4yrs4Y

Yes, but only when the need is absolutely necessary (Not for cosmetics, or for anything that wouldn't cause life threatening damage if not done)

 @8Q48T3Banswered…4yrs4Y

I would love to say no as I strongly hate animal testing but as a scientist myself I understand the need for testing before releasing medications, vaccines etc. To the public so I think it should only be used when absolutely necessary and not for cosmetics

 @99QYTKQanswered…2yrs2Y

yes, but only if they are treated well and have a reasonable living space

 @96VMSQ4answered…2yrs2Y

Yes but not for cosmetics and only in skiing when there is no other option.
