No, we need more tax brackets are needed to accurately represent the range of income within the top 1%
@9TS2CGH7mos7MO
We should reform the tax brackets in line with modern living wage and put a focus on taxing the very rich including assets and capitol income tax
@9QK7BNL9mos9MO
I think the threshold of £150,000 needs to be raised. For example, anyone earning over £250,000 should have their tax raised to 50%
@9PSV92C9mos9MO
Increase tax to 40% for those who individually earn over £150,000 annually. Does not effect nor include entire household, just the individual.
There should be a wealth tax. If you earn 50 million a year do you need more? 100% tax after a certain level
We should not have tax just like Dubai. Dubai runs better than the uk and they don’t make people pay tax and in the uk they make us pay tax but still isn’t run properly.
@9PJZ9SY10mos10MO
If the higher you earn the higher you’re taxed, people will not want to progress in their careers. The more they earn the more disposable income they’ll have to put back into the Uk
@9P3YLBW 10mos10MO
create a new top tax bracket of billionaires and charge them more. they’re the one’s who should be taxed more
@9NYBC5T10mos10MO
Yes but put in more tax rates for the super rich not 50% £150,000 but more breaks up to 75% for £1000 a year
@9NM4XPH10mos10MO
£150k is a lot, but it is not unheard of. Significant tax rates should instead apply to the ultra wealthy to effectively create a wealth cap and ensure trickle down economics actually has a chance to benefit all.
@9J86ZCB1yr1Y
Establish a system where society is split into a wealth hierarchy, the higher up the hierarchy you are, the greater % of tax you pay. This is to reduce the taxes for lower class workers, reduce wealth inequality and keep a steady flow of tax coming in for the government.
@9G7TJDV1yr1Y
No, but eliminate tax loopholes and tax bands should be revised to allow a lower tax percentage for minimum wage jobs such as 15% for minimum wage earners regardless of age.
@9FVKSV61yr1Y
Maybe not 50% for that much. Maybe 30-35% is more fair. It's multi-millionaires and billionaires that are the problem.
No, but those who are earning that much money should pay a lot more % of tax than anyone earning less than that.
@9PQVJSL9mos9MO
Wealth tax. If you've successfully completed capitalism then you do not get to keep anything over 1 billion
@9PBWKMV10mos10MO
I think a 50% rate should be implemented, but at a higher level than £150,000. Perhaps at income over £250,000
Tax rates for higher earners should be tiered in the same way as for lower earners, and loopholes should be removed
@9PZSN359mos9MO
The whole tax regime needs reform as it's too complicated and expensive to administer and prone to errors
@9Q3MGHG9mos9MO
I feel this is harsh as someone has earned this money. However I would select yes, as long as people on lower wages could have reduced tax. Make the gaps on wages smaller how can one person earn £23k full time and another £150k in my experience people who earn more don’t always work as hard.
@9Q3WM7J9mos9MO
There should be a wealth tax in the region of 75-95%, plus elimination of tax loopholes for top earners.
@9BQQYLB2yrs2Y
£150,000 is not a high wage anymore
@985YRKL2yrs2Y
Yes, to just 50.1%, and also abolish existing loopholes
@93VGXT33yrs3Y
Reform to a flat percentage tax rate of all income as well as introducing a Universal Basic Income program
@93RNRDB3yrs3Y
More money you make, more you should be taxed.
@93N6RS83yrs3Y
Raise it but lower than 50%
@93LXV6H3yrs3Y
maybe if it was raised by 10% and the minumun wage was increased
@93HS2BZ3yrs3Y
No, but require charitable donations
@93FL85Q3yrs3Y
@935X8L63yrs3Y
I am unsure as to how to answer this question.
@92PFT3G3yrs3Y
tax can be proportionately higher with the earnings. However to people whom work harder for the money should keep a bigger portion then people who make it as easy income (such as profit from a company they didn't establish) .
@92MTZRB3yrs3Y
50% tax rate on income over £200,000
@92K67G73yrs3Y
The top rate should start at a much higher income
@92C3V743yrs3Y
No, and reduce it to 40 percent
@926QVRL3yrs3Y

@8V59LF44yrs4Y
@8TXYYCG4yrs4Y

@8TJDYCB4yrs4Y

@8THTZ5V4yrs4Y
Not to 50% but certainly raised higher.
@8T3246T4yrs4Y
Tax incrementally more as wage increases. £150,000 is too low to start.
@8T2DKTZ4yrs4Y
Not for £150,000 for top earners
@8SR42Z24yrs4Y
50 % at 15000 then graduated to 60% at 2000, 70% at 25000, 80%at 3000,90% at 35000, then 95% at any amount thereafter.
@8SPYQ7H4yrs4Y
Graduated systemstarting at 50% at 15000,60% at 2000,70% at 25000,80% at 3000,90% at 35000,and 98% on anything higher.Noone needs to hoard that much wealth
@8SNQCCV4yrs4Y
Tax should be exponential
@8SLGJ6J4yrs4Y
No because those people are working for that money and must not be in easy jobs
@8SLG9XS4yrs4Y
Needs to be means tested
@8SLFV5Q4yrs4Y
No, but it should be higher than it is now
Not if you're self employed.
@8SJDQTR4yrs4Y
No, I would raise it to 75%.
@8S7K2RT4yrs4Y
me have low iq moment and not understand question
It depends how much more
@8RJW7J74yrs4Y

@8RJ57QQ4yrs4Y
Establish flat tax rate and remove all loopholes
@8QVW7Y84yrs4Y
@8QVVR8X4yrs4Y
@8QP84Z94yrs4Y

@8QNV8484yrs4Y
Raise it if they can afford it and eliminate tax loopholes
@8QLCZ8V4yrs4Y
No, make new tax brackets for even higher earners
@8QHGCGJ4yrs4Y
Increases tax just not as high
@8Q3G8M34yrs4Y
No, charge big corporations more
@8PTDZFN4yrs4Y
Add another rate of income tax band and tax them 50%
@8PT7CC5Liberal Democrat4yrs4Y
I’m satisfied with the current system
@8PQ56NX4yrs4Y
Address the big companies that don’t pay their taxes. Then the individuals
@8PNL5GDLiberal Democrat4yrs4Y
It should be raised but not as much as 50%
@8LZG4JD4yrs4Y
There should be 50 percent tax for those ratings 200k
@8LZG44C4yrs4Y
There should be 50 percent tax for those ratings 200k

@98CYBBXLiberal Democrat2yrs2Y

@98BB8NS2yrs2Y
No, should be kept at 45% and introduce 50% for over £250,000
@986K2FP2yrs2Y
Yes however at even higher thresholds it should be increased past 50%
@8D8D6ZX5yrs5Y
Increase it for billionaires
@97N8C4M2yrs2Y
No but there should be a 4th tax brackket for millionaires
@96R9QC7Liberal Democrat2yrs2Y
It should depend on the individual persons income.
@96R8QJP2yrs2Y
The tax bands need revision more than the headline rates.
@95J4DV33yrs3Y
no but income over 3 million raise the tax rate
@96SR3MZ2yrs2Y
