I think the threshold of £150,000 needs to be raised. For example, anyone earning over £250,000 should have their tax raised to 50%

Establish a system where society is split into a wealth hierarchy, the higher up the hierarchy you are, the greater % of tax you pay. This is to reduce the taxes for lower class workers, reduce wealth inequality and keep a steady flow of tax coming in for the government.
