They shouldn’t refuse be be re established into housing as lots have mental health issues so are used to sleeping rough I think it a case of counselling sessions to get people used to the norm

 @9QK766LConservativeanswered…9mos9MO

I think housing needs to be looked/based as it is ludicrous this is done for illegal immigrants and not people who are currently homeless

 @9QHWQLXConservativeanswered…9mos9MO

No not on all public property but they should be provided zones in every council area where they may camp, and be provided with food clothing and médecine

 @9QCRVVXConservativeanswered…9mos9MO

Sleeping and Encamping are very different, short term sleeping should be okay but long term camping should not.

 @9Q8BP6YConservativeanswered…9mos9MO

This should come down the reason for denying. I struggle to see why they would not want free shelter but equally, where else would they go? Perhaps best to locate specific places for those who reject

 @9PKLBVSConservativeanswered…9mos9MO

Many have dogs as company which are not allowed in shelter s so can not stay there,more should be done to house them in single accomodation with pet ,many are ex Army and should be housed before immigrants.

 @9PGNBMLConservativeanswered…10mos10MO

Should have some choice regards what available property they accept and should be delivered as part of a wider social care reform which monitors, mentors and rehabilitates the homeless person in their new setting.

 @9P7BYMLConservativeanswered…10mos10MO

They should be offered counseling and a course of treatment leading to a better understanding of how to help them effectively then official camps should be provided

 @9P6LYBDConservativeanswered…10mos10MO

No, they should be given a safe place to sleep, whether in a shelter or an encampment created by the council. People have the right to choose, within reason.

 @9N56GTMConservativeanswered…10mos10MO

Yes but not permanently - if they are well enough mentally to be that determined they are well enough to engage with a social programme that fits in with everyone else and improves their lives.

 @9M3ZWPFConservativeanswered…11mos11MO

the public plan should not be hostile, forexample making the part seat non sleepable or adding functionless barrier to prevent people to stay. however, encouraging them to get back to work, more reasonble pay for citizen to live for normal life, drugs and criminals need more cleans up by better police force and better working attitude, better education, more recreational resources for younger generation. less non productive welfare benefits person that doesn’t work for generations

 @9LP3J5ZConservativeanswered…12mos12MO

Help should be available but education and training should be available to help individuals where possible. No one should have to sleep or live outside.

 @9HTJYRSConservativeanswered…1yr1Y

Yes, but provide greater support programmes, including those that deal with reluctance to transition to housing.

 @9HT3XMYConservativeanswered…1yr1Y

It depends on if the homeless person is mentally and physically healthy and able to work or not. If now then I think he or she does deserved to get help.

 @9GXTXF6Conservativeanswered…1yr1Y

I can imagine an immigrant with no English except the word benefit being prioritised housing over our homeless individuals that have been failed by the system

 @9DDZZDSConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but the fact that they are refused proper legal shelter should be taken as a major social issue and the homeless should have sufficient access to shelter and food.

 @9D4GTLTConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

Create a range of sustainable social programme which have widespread benefit for all

 @9PQFRX8Conservative answered…9mos9MO

Yes if not a social nuisance (ie prevent people using public spaces through fear. Help them don’t punish them

 @9HG59TWConservativeanswered…1yr1Y

There may be a large information gap and so more should be done to make them more aware of the places that they may receive aid

 @9DXQ4RSConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

they should be allowed but if asked to leave by pedestrians they must leave the area

 @9D2TB3SConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

Yes, but only if not causing problems to local residents and businesses.

 @9BWKK5FConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

No, but provide spaces outdoors for the use of sleeping and monitor them.

 @96PBMXGConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

They should be moved on. Or have specific zones not heavily populated in cities that are allowed to be slept in. Populated areas should be banned

 @94D55SXConservativeanswered…3yrs3Y

No, but there should be proper support for the homeless to eradicate it

 @93C9ZPWConservativeanswered…3yrs3Y

 @92QQHMPConservativeanswered…3yrs3Y

No but government needs to increase the amount of help available to them

 @92HK3JSConservativeanswered…3yrs3Y

certain areas should be protected like shop entrances etc. but others like parks/underground stations are fine

 @9CRGZJNConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

If they refuse then they should have it took away but they need it if they say no

 @9CD3PNJConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

They should be offered relevant shelter and housing, and there should be programmes to ensure they can get support. But they should not sleep on public property.

 @9BH3LC3Conservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

Local initiatives to provide accommodations and education for the homeless.

 @984DX4YConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

Should be given a 3 chance system and if they dont take it. Should have there entitlements took off them

 @97RD34DConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

no they will not be able to be homeless, they will have to join the army as this will build up the countries military, whilst also providing them with a job, food, shelter, clothing and money, but it also makes towns and cities safer and cleaner.

 @97R7GRNConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

they should all have to join the army, they would get money and food and a place to live.

 @97PGYD4Conservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

I think there should be more shelters for homeless and if or when they find a job they can pay off all the free things given to them.

 @96S6GYKConservativeanswered…2yrs2Y

No, but make areas available for public encamp in cities - however provide basic amenities in these designated areas through council tax.
